29/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, the General Affairs Council approved without debate the annual evaluation of its common position on conflict prevention, management and settlement in Africa. This annual examination comes within the Union's efforts to develop a "proactive, comprehensive and integrated approach which will also serve as a common framework for actions of individual Member States", say the Council conclusions.
