Council adopts new regulation strengthening international action against unlawful fishing

Brussels, 29/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, the EU Council of Ministers adopted without debate the new regulation defining the terms and conditions for granting Community structural aid in the fisheries sector. The regulation strengthens international action for the prevention and elimination of unlawful, undeclared and unregulated fishing.
