200 million euro for a tunnel on A86 motorway in France

Brussels, 25/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) has granted a 200 million euro loan to the private firm Cofiroute to build a tunnel on the A86 motorway, situated in France west of the Greater Paris area. The project being funded relates to the building and operation (under a 70-year concession scheme) of an initial 10 km "Eastern" tunnel between Rueil-Malmaison and Versailles-South, reserved for light vehicles and comprising two superimposed two-lane carriageways...
