Italy's Sondrio bank awarded EUR 75 million loan

Brussels, 26/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, the European Investment Bank (EIB) decided to award a EUR 75 million loan to the "Banca Popolare di Sondrio" (BPSondrio) to help it fund investment programmes for SMEs in industry, services, commerce, tourism and infrastructure. The loan also aims to help fund initiatives in terms of energy, protecting the environment and developing innovative technology.
