WTO ministerial meeting to take place in Doha as scheduled

Geneva, 26/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Director General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), Mike Moore, and the Minister for the Economy and Finance of Qatar, Youssef Hussain Kamal, confirmed in Geneva on Wednesday that the Organisation's fourth ministerial conference will be held as scheduled in Doha, from 9 to 13 November. Certain members of WTO delegations had expressed fears about the risks weighing on this conference if military operations were launched in Afghanistan as a riposte...
