Speaking on behalf of the EU, Ms Durant calls on ICAO to strengthen air safety measures

Brussels / Montreal, 26/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - Speaking on behalf of the European Union at the opening of the general assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) in Montreal on Tuesday, Belgian Transport Minister Isabelle Durant urged for international air safety rules to be strengthened without neglecting environmental aspects, despite the current circumstances.
