Strasbourg, 06/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - During Thursday's extraordinary session the European Parliament adopted a resolution on the death penalty and thereby lends its support to the Strasbourg appeal June 22 to abolish capital punishment and place an immediate and universal moratorium on executions.
