06/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - During the press conference on Thursday in Frankfurt after the meeting of the ECB Board of Governors, (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.9), the Vice-President Christian Noyer announced that the Council had decided to amend the decision on the employment conditions of staff at the European Central bank, without other precautions. The bank's personnel recently protested against these conditions.
