06/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Organisation for European Cooperation and Development (OECD) announced that Aruba has pledged to eliminate its harmful tax practices by 31 December 2005. Aruba, which was among the 35 countries or territories identified by the OECD as meeting the technical criteria for being a "tax haven", will take part at the next meeting of the working group of the OECD World forum.
