Parliament mixes position of Socialists and Liberals by adopting nearly one hundred amendments to Directive on pension funds

Strasbourg, 06/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament adopted with a very large majority (458 votes for, 111 against and 11 abstentions) the report by Othmar Karas (EPP, Austria) on the draft Directive on the activities of the professional pension institutions, in other words: the pension and complementary pension funds.
