ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) communication

The Internet access provider EASYNET will merge with ISPARIS, subsidiary of the telecommunications equipment manufacturer MARCONI. The new group will retain the name of EASYNET; will be valued at some GBP 475 million and will be held initially with 70% by MARCONI. At a later date, MARCONI will issue for some GBP 50 million, new shares in EASYNET, reducing its share to 60%.
