Approval to joint acquisition of CAT, Renault subsidiary

Brussels, 29/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised a consortium composed of Autologic Holding Plc (UK), TNT Holdings BV (Netherlands) and Walleniusrederierna AB (Sweden) to take control of the Compagnie d'affrètement et de transport (CAT). This subsidiary of the French automobile group Renault provides logistics services to the automobile sector, mainly to the parent company. The latter has decided to entrust an external firm with the logistics business previously...
