29/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - Russia on Thursday lifted its embargo, decreed following the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease, on animal-based products imported from France, Ireland and some regions in the Netherlands. The restrictions remain in place for Great Britain, Portugal, Switzerland, as well as for three provinces of the Netherlands.
