Italy and Germany lodged the most requests for preliminary rulings with the Court of Justice in 2000

Brussels, 09/05/2001 (Agence Europe) - In its Annual Report 2000 (see EUROPE of 30 March, p.11), the Court of Justice devotes a line of statistics to the number of cases that, before ruling, the courts and courts of first instance (CFIs) of Member States sent to it for it to interpret an aspect of Community law.
