ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) dredging

The Dutch dredging company BOSKALIS has made a bid of around EUR 570 million in cash for HAM, the dredging subsidiary of its compatriot company HBG - HOLLANDSCHE BETON GROEP. According to the Belgian daily Financieel Economische Tijd, BOSKALIS is planning to finance part of this acquisition through issuing shares worth up to EUR 160 million. Last year, BOSKALIS had already sought to acquire the dredging firm but was unsuccessful.
