Public telecommunications operators dispute some parts of the Council of Europe draft convention on cyber-crime

Brussels, 30/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - The association of European Telecommunications Network Operators - ETNO referred on Monday to its concerns regarding the Council of Europe's Draft Convention on Cyber-Crime. The text is intended to respond to challenges linked to the increase in cyber-crime and has to be finalized within a month. It will define the procedures to follow for cross-border cooperation between authorities that ensure implementation of the law and establish minimum standards...
