30/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - The 626 European students who met last week in Strasbourg to adopt a European Charter on the Rights and Duties of Students also gave their views after a debate with MEP Alain Lamassoure on their conception of the future of Europe (see EUROPE of 27 April, p.6). In particular, most of them felt that, if 2/3 of Europeans are in favour of a European Constitution, this constitution should be applied in all Member States. EUROPE will come back to this.
