G7 Finance moderately optimistic about slowdown in world economy - no direct pressure on ECB

Brussels, 30/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Finance Ministers and central bankers of the world's seven most industrial countries reaffirmed their confidence in the "sound" outlook for the world economy in Washington on Saturday and said they were remaining vigilant with respect to the slowdown in economic growth in 2001.
