Commission "temporarily" resumes funding of projects in Slovakia - Olaf investigation

Brussels, 30/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has "temporarily" resumed calls for tenders and the conclusion of contracts with Slovakia, the Commission's spokesperson announced on Monday. On 6 April, the European Commission had suspended all payments and calls for tenders following suspicions of fraud in the Slovak Administration (see EUROPE of 27 April, p.8).
