CLONG's future to be sealed on Tuesday at Extraordinary General Assembly - liquidation or restructuring?

Brussels, 06/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - The fate of the liaison committee for voluntary NGOs (CLONG) at the Union will be sealed on Tuesday after an Extraordinary General Assembly, convened in Brussels on 10 and 11 April. The representatives of the national CLONG platforms will be invited to decide either to liquidate CLONG or to take up its activities in the context of restructuring or in another form of organisation.
