ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) banking

The Italian group UNICREDIT - UNICREDITO ITALIANO has signed an agreement to sell the majority of its stake in BANCA DI BERGAMO to VENETO BANCA, Venetian region establishment. The operation, the terms of which have not been disclosed, provides for UNICREDIT selling a 60% stake in BANCA DI BERGAMO, the remainder of its stake (some 30%) going to unspecified minority shareholders.
