The Italian manufacturer of spectacles LUXOTTICA has succeeded in its friendly bid for the American firm SUNGLASS HUT INTERNATIONAL. The operation allowed it to gather 97.1% of the capital in SSUNGLASS HUT INTERNATIONAL with which it will merge. See EI of 24 February.
