Brussels, 27/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Standing Veterinary Committee, which met on Tuesday in Brussels to discuss the situation of the four Member States affected by the foot-and-mouth epizootic, approved the Commission's proposal aimed at prolonging until 19 April the precautionary measures adopted at Community level to prevent the spread of the disease.
