27/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - In the context of preparing for the Belgian Presidency of the EU Council, the Federal Opinion Committee responsible for European issues in the Belgian Senate, that brings together representatives from the different Belgian federal ministerial cabinets, will on Wednesday be meeting several non-governmental organisations, including Amnesty International, ADT Quart Monde and the Human Rights League. The day before, the same committee, accompanied by several Belgian House and Senate committees, will have met Finance Minister Didier Reynders who will brief them on the European Council of Stockholm.
