Towards opening of "Culture 2000" to CEECs

Brussels, 12/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has just presented a project in view of the participation of CEECs in the "Culture 2000" programme, participation that demands a decision by the boards of association.. The Commission hopes for their rapid adoption so that candidate countries may stil take part in projects backed by the EU in the field of culture this year still. Projects backed by CEECs will be submitted to the same conditions and procedures as those that apply...
