The Italian industrial holding firm FINMECCANICA, controlled at 38% by the Italian Treasury, has initiated restructuring on its specialised arm in rail construction with the creation of three separate companies: ANSALDO-BREDA for rolling stock, ANSALDO SIGNALI for signalling and ANSALDO TRASPORTI for engineering and the supply of urban transport systems (underground).
