12/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Social Partners (ETUC for the trade unions, Unice/Eeapme for the employers, and CEEP for public companies), are, with the backing of the European Commission, organising a conference on the social dialogue in candidate countries, in Bratislava on 16 and 17 March. The main subject of the conference, in which representatives of the social partners of the candidate countries, Slovak public authorities and of the European Commission will take part, will be the development of tripartism in candidate countries, collective bargaining and bipartite social dialogue, as well as the involvement of the social partners in the preparatory phases for accession..
