12/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Times asserts that Tony Blair will announce, in two weeks, the calling of general elections on 3 May. According to opinion polls, 47% of the British consider Mr Blair to be the best candidate, and only 14% prefer the Conservative leader William Hague.
