12/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission President, Romano Prodi, spoke on the telephone last Friday with the President of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Boris Trajkovski. He gave him his full support to "the very responsible attitude" of the Macedonian authorities in the difficult crisis that they are facing and assured him that the European Commission would continue to help his country, adds the Commission press service.
