Brussels, 26/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has just sent a letter to the German authorities in which is states that it considers the guarantees - Anstaltslast and Gewahrtragerhaftung - granted to German States banks to constitute State aid and are as a result incompatible with Community law.
