ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) catering

The French canteen and catering firm SODEXHO ALLIANCE has bid $900 million for the acquisition of 52% of the capital that it does not yet hold in its American subsidiary SMS - SODEXHO MARRIOTT SERVICES (turnover $4.7 billion for the financial year ending September 2000). SODEXHO proposes $27 per share.
