26/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - The information publication Fourth World outlines in its first issue of 2001 "three prospects" for this year, namely: 1) ensure the drafting of a national action plan against poverty and social exclusion, by each Member State, in which the aims approved by in Nice are implemented in partnership with the poorest; 2) contribute towards this partnership - which the International ATD Fourth World Movement will make by inviting delegates from people and families in extreme poverty to the 7th European session of the Conference of the Fourth World People's Universities, on 18 June at the economic and Social Committee; - "rely on the commitment by Belgium, future Council President, to "revise the Charter of Fundamental Rights and continue a reflection on the implementation of concrete indicators with the poorest."
