26/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission spokesman said that the latest technical negotiating meeting on the EU/Morocco Fisheries Agreement was held in a constructive atmosphere. "I believe that we are on the right track", he said. Progress was made in Rabat on Thursday, notably regarding the number of European vessels that would be allowed to fish in Moroccan waters. No date has yet been set for a further meeting.
