26/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - Referring the major outlines of the programme of the Belgian Presidency of the EU (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.4), Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhostadt said he intended organising an EU/Africa Summit. You may recall that a first summit between the European union and Africa was held in Cairo last year, under the French Presidency.
