Parliament calls on Commission to use every existing financing means to help areas hit by recent flooding

Strasbourg, 22/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - Last week, the European Parliament called for Community aid to be granted to the Member States hit by the sometimes deadly flooding: United Kingdom (Yorkshire, South East England, East Anglia, Wales, Cornwall, East Midlands), Ireland (south east coast), Italy (Alps, Liguaria, Lombardia, Emilia), France and Spain.
