22/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - On the occasion of the signing of the Planning Document (Docup) of European Regional Policy (Objective 1) for Corsica from 2000 to 2006, Commissioner Barnier recalled that the Commission was preparing a summary and assessment paper on the island, in response to a memorandum by France, calling for Corsica's "specific" situation to be taken into account.
