22/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - The EU Council has ended the European Union contribution to the collection and destruction of weapons in Albania. The Council adopted a decision repealing its 1999 decisions on the subject of this contribution, following a letter of last April in which the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) acknowledged that it would not be able to "meet the terms of the contract".
