French PINGUELY-HAULOTTE (turnover EUR 190 million estimated for 2000 with 600 employed) is to acquire, for the sum of FF 110 million, all the European activities of American TEREX in the automated elevator hoist sector within SIMON (Ireland) and HOLLAND LIFT (Netherlands). The French group, the largest European company in this sector with a market share of 20%, is expected to come close to 25%.
