Brussels, 20/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - During its meeting last Friday, the Fisheries Council discussed the future with its debate on further catch reductions that should be decided within three weeks and on the new instruments for forming a framework for fishing activities, that should come about with the revision of the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) in 2002 (see EUROPE of 18 November, p.12).
