Imbeni calls for European Parliament participation in defining MEDA 2 allocation and new Barcelona Process objectives

Marseilles, 20/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - The vice-president of the European Parliament, Renzo Imbeni (who took part last week, with the EP delegation, in the work of the Euro-Mediterranean ministerial conference), had held a press conference on the spot calling for participation by the European Parliament not only in the fixing of an allocation for the MEDA 2 budget, but also in the definition of new objectives for the Barcelona Process.
