Industry and social partners in shipbuilding call for extension of State aid scheme for their sector

Brussels, 20/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Committee of EU Shipbuilders Associations (CESA) has called on the European Commission to make "fewer promises" and further promote immediate measures to remedy the crisis of the shipbuilding sector in Europe, notably by extending the State aid scheme that is to expire at the end of the year.
