Commission "reasoned opinion" to France for it to abolish discriminatory aspects of rendering levy

Brussels, 18/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has sent a "reasoned opinion" to France, second stage o the infringement procedure, to urge it to abolish the discriminatory aspects of the "rendering levy". If France does not comply with the reasoned opinion within two months, the Commission could refer the matter to the Court of Justice.
