Brussels, 18/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - Next week's European Parliament's plenary session in Strasbourg - the second this month - will have as main topic the first reading of the EU budget for the year 2001: the debate will take place Tuesday afternoon and voting on Thursday morning. In addition, Tuesday morning, Parliament will hear the Council and Commission brief them on the Biarritz Summit, and discuss two reports on the "constitutionalisation" of the treaties and reinforced cooperation...
