RCS - RIZZOLI CORRIERE DELLA SERA, world's largest in Italian publishing and newspapers, will acquire the French group FLAMMARION (turnover of FF 1.1 billion in 1999). The Flammarion family in fact sold all of its shares (77.69% of the capital) to RCS, which offered other shareholders a guarantee for the same price or EUR 78.2 per share. RCS (equivalent turnover of FF 1.1 billion in 1999) will thus pay FF 1.2 billion for 100% of the capital.
