ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) brewing

Austrian brewer BBAG has acquired BREWERY HOLDINGS, the largest group of the sector in Romania. The amount of the acquisition is not indicated but is estimated at $100 million by analysts. With this move, BBAG, which already owned four Romanian breweries, will become the largest brewer of the country with a national market share of 36%.
