Brussels, 23/08/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to send a reasoned opinion to Greece for restrictive rules that make it very difficult for non-Greek insurers to offer breakdown assistance cover. The Greek authorities have two months, on receiving the opinion, to confirm that they have ended the presumed infringement of Community law. Otherwise, the Commission could turn to the European Court of Justice.
