The Swedish group SECURITAS (turnover SEK 25.65 billion in 1999) has made two acquisitions in the United States. The first concerns the American company APG SECURITY INC, bought up for $29 million, and the second BURNS INTERNATIONAL, the second largest American surveillance company, for the sum of $457 million.
