23/08/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Greek press agency ANA reports that, on an official visit to Albania, the Greek Minister for Public Order, Michalis Chryssochoidis, said that Greece backed Tirana's proposal of creating an international centre to combat organised crime and illegal trafficking in Vlore, Southern Albania. The minister also announced that a regional meeting on security issues would be held in Corfu in October, with the participation of Greece, Albania and Italy, and recalled that, following the coming into effect of the Greece-Albania Agreement on seasonal work, Albanian citizens would be able to work in greece unimpeded.
