Brussels, 28/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to refer Italy and Luxembourg to the European Court of Justice for restrictions they impose on the activities of patent agents. The Italian and Luxembourg authorities demand of these agents that they be domiciled in the country (i.e., that they effectively live there and not only registered for commercial reasons) to be able to exercise their activities.
