- Poland: the Polish minister has revealed a privatization plan for 51% of the capital of the telecommunications operator TPSA - TELEKOMUNIKACJA POLSKA SA. The operation will bee in three stages: mid-September, the government will sell a 25% stake to the French operator FRANCE TELECOM and 10% to the latter's Polish ally KULCZYK, in exchange for 18.62 bn zlotys; ii) in July 2001, the two partners will be able to acquire an additional 10% for 5.6 bn zlotys; iii) in the third quarter 2001, the...
